21:525:100,101 Honors Colloquium (3,3)
Theme-based interdisciplinary seminar taken in two parts; critical analysis and research and methods; theme changes each semester. Functions as the foundational interdisciplinary courses for the Honors College curriculum.
Open to Honors College students only.

21:525:250,251,252,253,254,255 Honors Special Topic Seminars (3,3,3.3.3.3)
Rotating seminars taught by faculty in the natural sciences (525:250, 251), the humanities (525:252,253), and the social sciences (525:254,255); topics and disciplines change each semester. Provides opportunities for intellectual exploration of topics not usually covered in the undergraduate curriculum or of topics at a greater level of detail than ordinarily is possible in a general course.
Open to Honors College students only.

21:525:395,396 Junior Scholars Inquiry (1,1)
One-credit thesis project prospectus/preparatory course.

Open to Honors College students only.

21:525:401 Honors College Independent Study (BA)
Independent study offers students an opportunity to explore an area of special interest with the guidance and expertise of a faculty member through a program of readings and/or research.
Open to Honors College students only by permission of the Honors College dean.

21:525:450 Honors College Internships (BA)
Placement in the Honors College, an on-campus organization/department or a suitable off-campus organization that encourages students to understand and to test the applicability of their classroom educational experiences. Eight to ten hours per week of work, weekly log of internship-related activities, and a final paper are required.

21:525:497,498 Senior Honors Project (3,3)
Honors College seniors culminate their undergraduate experience with a year-long thesis project. The thesis project, supervised by a faculty member, may be focused on a student's major area of study or may reflect a special interest or talent of the student outside of his or her major. Credit is given only upon completion of the project.
Open to Honors College seniors only by permission of the Honors College dean. Both semesters must be completed to receive credit. The thesis project is an Honors College requirement.
